Two sticks that look like magic wands with string and tassels attached to the end are shown. Pull on one tassel and the other tassel shoots back into the end of the other stick.

Repeat this and now the other tassel shoots up back into stick. Spectators think they know how it is done but to finish magician separates sticks completely and audience is amazed to see it still happens.
